Here at it'seeze Ipswich, we are fortunate to have very clever support from our Head Office in Devon. The Technical Team have recently worked to make our websites more efficient enabling them to load quicker...
We have updated our servers to PHP 7.4 which has sped things up.
Uncached pages (10% of page views) now take an average of 25 milliseconds to load (40 pages/second) – down from 40 milliseconds (25 pages/second)
Cached pages (90% of page views) now take an average of 2.3 milliseconds to load (430 pages/second) – down from 2.8 milliseconds (350 pages/second)
Although to the eye you’ll notice little if any difference in the time it takes to load the pages on your website, search engines will see the improvement – this can contribute to higher rankings in the search results.
You will also notice an improvement when running any it’seeze sites through a speed test.
